Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has appointed Dr Abubakar Abdullahi Kuso, the Dan Wadatan Nupe, as the new Chairman of the Management Committee of Niger Tornadoes FC, with immediate effect.
Kuso, who serves as Executive Director of Planning and Design at the Upper Niger River Basin Development Authority, succeeds Engr Ibrahim Dada, who stepped down to contest the Bosso/Paikoro Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives.
Announcing the appointment, Governor Bago said he was confident Kuso could "reposition the Minna-based club through competent and proactive leadership" and was optimistic he would help return the club to its "glory days."
