The Niger Tornadoes Management Committee, under Chairman Dr Abubakar Abdullahi Kuso (Dan Wadatan Nupe), has entered into a strategic partnership with Denim Giyim Ltd of Turkey, led by its Chief Executive Officer, Mr Emry Yilmaz, who also owns Mai DDC LLC, a subsidiary based in California, United States.
The Chairman was accompanied at the official engagement by the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Jacob Baba Yisa; Sporting Director Mojeed Ibrahim; and Director of Logistics, Alhaji Ibrahim Audi.
The agreement, which takes effect immediately, focuses on youth development, player advancement, education and international opportunities. Denim Giyim Ltd will facilitate and sponsor the movement of five promising youth players from the Niger Tornadoes feeder team to selected football academies in Europe, where they will develop their careers while continuing their education.
The company will also arrange trial opportunities for two Niger Tornadoes senior players with European clubs, and will provide 300 official Niger Tornadoes replica jerseys.
The partnership is one of the major outcomes of the club's Turkey trip, opening a pathway that combines football development with education for the next generation of Ikon Allah Boys.
