Niger Tornadoes Mourns Ozor Chinedu

Niger Tornadoes FC is deeply saddened by the sudden and tragic passing of Katsina United defender Benjamin Chinedu Ozor, who slumped and died during a friendly encounter between Niger Tornadoes and Katsina United at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium, Katsina.

The news of Chinedu's death has left the entire football family in shock and disbelief. Just moments before, he was on the pitch doing what he loved most — playing football.

His sudden departure is a painful reminder of the fragility of life and has cast a dark shadow over what was meant to be a routine pre-season encounter.

Chinedu was a top professional and a committed defender who gave his best to every club he represented. He had stints with Abia Warriors, Kano Pillars, Heartland and Sunshine Stars before returning to Katsina United, where he continued his football journey with dedication and professionalism.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the management, players, coaches, staff and supporters of Katsina United, as well as to the family, friends and loved ones of the deceased.
